FM Scale DAC Offset Calibration

Description

This test is used to remove the offset associated with the FM SCALE DAC operational

ampliﬁer located on the reference board. This calibration results in a DAC value for FM

OFFSET DAC 2. After this DAC value has been properly adjusted, the effects of the FM

SCALE DAC value on the offset will be minimized.

Required Test Equipment

• HP/Agilent 53132A Option 050 Universal Counter

Procedure

1. Connect the equipment as shown above.

2. Preset all of the equipment.

3. Follow the instructions as they appear on the controller’s display.
