 Remove power to the Model V24CT/V26CT by pressing the power switch to OFF and
disconnecting the AC power cord.
 At the rear of the Model V24CT/V26CT, open the battery door (swings downward).
 Lift up on the battery retaining switch and the battery pops out.
 Repeat procedure for the second battery if necessary.
