Electronic Rat Trap Classic
Instructions
1. Place a small amount of bait such as peanut
butter on the back wall of the unit, away from
the metal plates on the floor of the trap. Be
sure to use a cotton swab, toothpick or
another tool to bait so your scent is not
transferred onto the trap.
2. Remove the battery cover. Insert 4 new "AA"
batteries and replace the battery cover.
3. Place the trap on a flat surface against a wall
where you have seen signs of rodent activity.
The trap should be placed lengthwise with
the entrance nearest to the wall.
4. Turn the main switch ON. A red light will
appear, then fade away to indicate that the
batteries are good and the trap is working
properly.
5. When a rodent is caught, the red light will
flash once every 7 seconds. Turn the unit
OFF, remove the batteries and dispose of the
rodent. Bait the trap, insert the batteries and
turn the main switch ON. A rapid red flash
indicates that the batteries no longer have
enough power to kill a rodent. Replace with 4
new batteries. The old batteries may still be
used for other products that take "AA"
batteries.
