Pedestal types There are several types of drawer pedestals - desk-height pedestals for use alongside a table and two types of pedestals on castors that can be wheeled under a table. Mobile drawer pedestal (54 cm high) The mobile drawer pedestal on smal castors is easy to move. Mobile drawer pedestal (59,5 cm high) The mobile drawer pedestal with push-handle and large castors is easy to move over relatively long distances, for example in an office with flexible workstations.
Locking Order extra keys The number on the key corresponds to the number on the lock. You will need to quote this number when reordering keys. Keys Drawer pedestals are supplied with two keys, one with a folding handle. This will reduce injury when an inserted key is accidently hit. Master key closure It is possible that a master key is used to excess all the pedestals. Lock cylinder replacement After exchanging the lock cylinder for another the pesetal can be locked with a new set of keys.
Storage in A4 size drawers Drawer handles The drawer fronts have side grips on each side of the drawers in case of both the straight and bended drawer front versions. A4 drawers have a 30 cm high front. The telescopic version of the drawer is supplied with a metal file frame to store suspension files. In case of the 42 cm wide pedestals files can be stored both frontal or lateral. This depends entirely on personal preference for excessing the files.
Storage in A6 drawers Safety Extension capacity of A6 and A4 drawers Only telescopic drawers can be pulled all the way out of the unit. Drawer locking When one drawer is open, the other drawers cannot be opened. They are blocked to prevent the drawer pedestal from tipping over. The supply drawer (if fitted) can always be opened, even when another drawer is open. In case of single drawer slides the drawer will stay partly in the pedestal.
Maintenance These instructions are for both the professional cleaner and the user of the workstation. Cleaning Maintenance-free components The glides of the drawers are under normal conditions maintenancefree. Never use benzine, acetone, turpentine, kerosene or other aggressive substances, solvents or abrasives. Solvent-based lacquer, glue, nail varnish, ballpoint pen ink etc. should be removed with an organic solvent, such as methylated spirits.
