INTRODUCTION Thank you for choosing your Aidapt Tri-walker. Our tri-walkers, as with all of our products, are manufactured from high quality materials. Your tri-walker has been designed to assist the user to walk and carry small items of shopping with our optional special shopping bag designed specifically to fit your triwalker. Only use basket and bags supplied and designed for your Tri-walker. Do not use or combine bags or baskets from other manufacturers. In normal use, i.e.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 1. Carefully remove all packaging. Check the product thoroughly for damage or obvious faults. If you suspect the unit to be faulty, please do not use, but contact your supplier immediately for service. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Release the side locking levers (fig. 1) left and right of the frame. Carefully insert the brake assembly (fig. 2) within the frame.
OPERATING THE BRAKES 1. 2. 3. To stop, gently apply a gripping pressure to both brakes simultaneously (fig.5), this will slow down and stop your tri-walker. The brakes on your tri-walker have a park option (fig.5a). To operate the park option, push downwards on both brakes simultaneously. You will feel the brake make a very slight click. Your brakes are now in the ‘lock’ position. To unlock, simply pull up the brake again, you will hear a slight click as the ‘park’ disengages. Fig. 5 Fig. 5a Fig.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE & YOUR OBLIGATION 1. Only use your Tri-walker for the purpose for which it is intended, which is an aid to walking. It is intended that your Tri-walker is only used on standard pavements or at home and should not be used on rough terrain or pot holed surfaces. The use of you tri-walker on these surfaces can seriously compromise your safety. 2. Keep your Tri-walker clean by wiping down with a damp cloth with a mild detergent.
ADJUSTMENT 1. 2. 3. Your Tri-walker brake system will require periodic adjustment (fig.7). Look for an adjusting barrel, a long hollow bolt in which the cable housing terminates, but the inner wire goes through. This adjusting barrel may be on the hand lever (fig.7a), or on the brake calliper (the main part of the braking system at the wheel, fig. 7b). You can fine adjust the brake tension by unscrewing the adjusting barrel a little bit. This effectively shortens the cable. Fig. 7 4. 5. 6. Fig.
REISSUE If you reissue or are about to reissue this product, please thoroughly check all components for their safety. This includes: • Bent or damaged tubes or cracks at the tube joints. • Loose or worn horseshoe clips • Elongated adjustment holes. • Loose handles. • Loose or worn Wheels and wheel fasteners (where fitted) • Smooth, worn or split ferrules (rubber tips). Replace all worn, missing or damaged parts where necessary.

INTRODUCTION Lors du déballage, si vous constatez un défaut, veuillez contacter votre revendeur. Dans ce cas, n'utilisez pas le déambulateur car cela ne serait pas prudent. Nous vous remercions d'avoir choisi un déambulateur Aidapt. Notre gamme de déambulateurs, comme tous nos produits, est fabriquée à partir des meilleurs matériaux et est conforme aux normes CEE en vigueur. Un déambulateur est destiné à aider l'utilisateur à marcher et transporter ses courses peu lourdes grâce au sac de shopping optionnel.

MÉCANISME DE VERROUILLAGE 1. Ouvrez le déambulateur en poussant les poignées vers l'extérieur dans des directions opposées en formant un ''Y'' (fig. 4). Tirez/poussez le support de verrouillage central de telle sorte que les plaques soient parallèles en utilisant la poignée située au centre. Vérifiez que le châssis est verrouillé avant d'utiliser le déambulateur.
INSTALLATION DU SAC 1. 2. 3. Il est possible d'installer un sac sur le déambulateur quand celui-ci est ouvert. Prenez le système d'attache situé sur le côté supérieur du sac et enroulez-le autour de la barre diagonale du cadre (fig. 6) puis enclenchez les pressions. Répétez cette action du côté opposé. Prenez l'attache située sur le côté du sac et enroulez-la autour de la barre verticale du cadre (fig. 6a) puis enclenchez les pressions. Fig. 6 Fig. 6a SOIN, ENTRETIEN & VOS OBLIGATIONS 1.
6. Vérifications à effectuer mensuellement : a. Vérifiez les systèmes de verrouillage latéraux. b. Vérifiez que vous n'avez perdu aucune pièce. c. Vérifiez les freins; s'assurer que les freins sont bien ajustés avec un espace de 3mm entre les pneus et les freins. N'ajoutez pas d'accessoires ni de pièces détachées fabriqués par une autre société. Cela annulerait la garantie et pourrait mettre votre sécurité en danger. 7. Nous vous suggérons de contrôler visuellement votre déambulateur tous les jours.
NETTOYAGE Nettoyez votre déambulateur avec un produit de nettoyage non abrasif ou un détergent doux et un chiffon doux. Les détergents abrasifs comme Ajax par exemple et les éponges à grattoir abrasif abîmeraient sérieusement votre produit. Essuyez bien votre déambulateur. RÉUTILISATION Si vous n'avez pas utilisé ce produit pendant longtemps ou si il est confié à un autre utilisateur, vérifiez tous les composants et les serrages pour la sécurité de l'utilisateur.

EINFÜHRUNG Vielen Dank für Ihren Erwerb dieser dreirädrigen Gehhilfe von Aidapt. Unsere dreirädrigen Gehhilfen sind wie alle unserer Produkten aus hochwertigen Materialien gefertigt. Sie wurden entwickelt, um dem/der Benutzer/in beim Laufen und Tragen kleinerer Gegenstände zu helfen. Mit unserer optional erhältlichen Einkaufstasche, die speziell auf Ihre dreirädrige Gehhilfe angepasst ist, eignet sich das Gerät auch hervorragend zum Einkaufen.
AUFBAU 1. Entfernen Sie die Verpackung. Überprüfen Sie das Produkt auf eventuelle Schäden. Sollten Sie irgendwelche Schäden am Produkt feststellen, so verwenden Sie es nicht, sondern kontaktieren Sie unverzüglich Ihren Händler. 2. Entriegeln Sie die Riegel (s. Abb. 1) links und rechts am Rahmen 3. Setzen Sie sorgfältig die Bremskomponente (s. Abb. 2) in den Rahmen ein. 4. Stellen Sie die Griffe auf die gewünschte Höhe ein.
BEDIENUNG DER BREMSEN 1. Um anzuhalten, greifen Sie gleichzeitig beide Bremshebel (s. Abb. 5). 2. Die Bremsen haben eine Parkfunktion (s. Abb. 5a). Um diese zu aktivieren, drücken Sie beide Bremshebel gleichzeitig nach unten bis sie ein leichtes Klickgeräusch hören. Ihre Bremsen sind jetzt verriegelt in Parkposition. 3. Um die Bremsen wieder zu entriegeln ziehen Sie die Bremsgriffe einfach nach oben (s. Abb. 5b).
PFLEGE UND WARTUNG & IHRE PFLICHT 1. Benutzen Sie Ihre Gehhilfe ausschließlich für den Zweck, für den sie gedacht ist - als Hilfe beim Gehen. Diese Gehhilfe ist nur für den Gebrauch auf gewöhnlichen Gehsteigen oder zu Hause gedacht und sollte nicht auf rauem Terrain oder auf Wegen mit Schlaglöchern verwendet werden. Die Benutzung Ihrer Gehhilfe auf den falschen Oberflächen kann Ihre Sicherheit ernsthaft beeinträchtigen. 2.
EINSTELLUNG DER BREMSEN 1. Das Bremssystem dieser Gehhilfe benötigt regelmäßige Einstellung (s. Abb.7). 2. Finden Sie die Stellschrauben für die Bremsen. Diese ist ein langer, hohler Bolzen, in dem das Kabelgehäuse abschließt, der innere Draht hingegen durchläuft. Diese Stellschraube kann sich am Handhebel (s. Abb. 7a) oder am Bremssattel (der Hauptteil der Bremsanlage am Rad, s. Abb. 7b) befinden. 3.
