VPN Router
The IPW-VPN is a hardware device that allows
secure communications to be established over any
standard, public, or private network. The IPW-VPN
performs behind rewalls and NAT devices and
o󰀨ers encrypted communication for all IP protocols
regardless of the type of tra󰀩c.
When deployed, the IPW-VPN provides a secure
and encrypted tunnel for network communications.
This proves benecial when needing to remotely
program or maintain the IX or GT Series.
For best results with the Aiphone IX Series, it is
recommended that the IX product be programmed
to use multicast.

The IPW-VPN is not recommended if using an
IX video door station and an IP camera for the
picture-in-picture feature.
