GETTING STARTED Inserting Batteries 1. Take off the cap. 2. Slide open the battery cover. 3. Place two AAA batteries in accordance with the anode(+) and cathode(-) marks. 4. GETTING STARTED Installing the USB Driver (for Windows 98SE) If you are running Windows ME, 2000, or XP on your PC, your player will be automatically detected as a “removable drive” and needs no installation. If you are running Windows 98SE on your PC, you will need to install the driver with the supplied installation CD. 1. Insert the installation CD into your CD-ROM player. 2. Click on the icon to launch the installation of “AIPTEK MP3 Player Driver”. 3. Follow the installation instructions.
GETTING STARTED Removing the Player For Windows 98SE users: Unplug the MP3 player from the USB port when file transferring is finished. For Windows ME, 2000, or XP users: 1. Double-click on the removable icon ( bring up the following message. 2. Click “Stop”. OTHER INFORMATION Batteries Level Indicator The battery level indicator displays the power remaining with the following five symbols. The battery power is above 90%. The battery power is above 70%. TROUBLESHOOTING Question Power cannot be turned on. Answer ► Check if the batteries are installed correctly. ► Check if the batteries are exhausted. ► Check if the HOLD switch is turned on. The MP3 player cannot play music/ voice files. ► Check if there are any MP3 files in the MP3 player. If not, connect the player to PC to download files. ► Check if the sample rate of WMA format is below 192Kbps. The buttons don’t respond. ► Check if the HOLD switch is turned on.

Arbeiten Sie auf Ihrem PC unter Windows 98SE, müssen Sie den Treiber von der beigelegten Installations-CD installieren. 1. Legen Sie die InstallationsCD in das CD-ROMLaufwerk. 2. AVVIAMENTO Inserimento delle batterie 1. 2. Estrarre il cappuccio. Aprire il coperchio scomparto batterie facendolo scorrere. 3. Inserire due batterie AAA facendo combaciare i segni anodo (+) e catodo (-). 4. Rimettere il coperchio ed il cappuccio dello scomparto batterie. 3 Collegamento della tracolla 1. Premere il tasto come indicato per scomporre la tracolla. 2. Estrarre il cappuccio. 3. Congiungere la parte più corta al coperchio scomparto facendola passare per il passante. 4.
AVVIAMENTO Installazione del driver USB (per Windows 98SE) Se il proprio PC esegue Windows ME, 2000, o XP, il lettore sarà rilevato automaticamente come una “unità rimovibile” che non necessita di installazione. Se il proprio PC esegue Windows 98SE, è necessario installare il driver che si trova nel CD d’istallazione fornito. 1. Inserire il CD d’installazione nell’unità CD-ROM. 2. Fare clic sull’icona per lanciare l’installazione del “AIPTEK MP3 Player Driver”. 3.
AVVIAMENTO Rimozione del lettore Utenti Windows 98SE: Scollegare il lettore MP3 dalla porta USB quando il trasferimento dei file è terminato. Utenti Windows ME, 2000 o XP: 1. Fare doppio clic sull’icona rimozione sicura dell’hardware ( ) sulla barra delle applicazioni per fare apparire il seguente messaggio. 2. Fare clic su “Termina”. Quando appare il messaggio “Disattivazione di una periferica hardware”, fare clic su OK e scollegare il lettore.

PRIMEROS PASOS Extracción del reproductor Para usuarios de Windows 98SE: Desconecte el reproductor MP3 del puerto USB cuando se haya finalizado la transferencia del archivo. Para usuarios de Windows ME, ME 2000 o XP: 1. Haga doble clic en el icono extraíble ( ) situado en la barra de tareas para que aparezca el mensaje siguiente. 2. Haga clic en “Stop” (Detener). OPERACIONES AVANZADAS Lista de Reproducción Cuando la función DEMO está activada, puede establecerse la PLAY LIST (LISTA DE REPRODUCCIÓN) que permite hasta 32 pistas favoritas. (sólo para modo MP3) ♫ Establecer pistas favoritas 1. Pulse el botón REPRODUCIR en el modo DEMO. 2. Durante la reproducción, pulse el botón A-B para marcar ( ) las pistas favoritas. Para eliminar la selección de la pista favorita, pulse el botón A-B durante la reproducción. Desaparecerá la marca ( ) situada junto a la pista.

U hoeft dan niets te installeren. Gebruikt u Windows 98SE, dan moet u het stuurprogramma van de meegeleverde cd installeren. 1. Leg de installatie-cd in de cdlezer. 2. FUNÇÕES AVANÇADAS A FUNÇÃO REPEAT (REPETIR) A reprodução de faixas pode ser feita nos seguintes modos de repetição: OFF (DESACTIVADO) O modo REPEAT (REPETIR) é desactivado. Todas as faixas são reproduzidas uma vez. 1 Reproduz uma faixa repetidamente. ALL (TODOS) Reproduz todas as faixas repetidamente e de forma aleatória.
