General Information
General Safety Information
¾ To prevent operating malfunctions, keep the camera dry and free of
dust. Do not place the camera in direct sunlight or near excessive heat.
¾ Place and operate the camera from a stable, even and vibration free
area. Use the camera stand to prevent the camera from accidentally
falling.
¾ Install the USB-Cable so that no one can accidentally step on or trip over
the cable.
¾ To prevent damage to the USB-Cable, do not place any items on the
cable.
¾ Operate the camera only in areas when the outside temperature ranges
between 32°F (0°C) - 104°F (40°C) and the humidity ranges between
20% and 80%.
¾ When the camera is not in operation, it may be stored in places where
the temperature ranges between –4°F (-20°C) – 158°F (70°C) and the
humidity ranges from 20% - 90%.
¾ To prevent damage or lose of data, keep the camera at least one meter
away from high frequency or magnetic devices.
Maintenance and Repair
¾ Keep the lens free of water, dirt and dust. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean
the lens.
¾ Use a damp cloth to clean the camera. Do not use any cleaning
solutions or other chemical cleaning fluids.
¾ To prevent damage to the camera, do not open the camera as this may
cause damage to the sensors or possibly an electronic short
¾ When:
The camera does not operate properly
The camera or housing has become damaged
Liquid has entered the camera
