Fonction Oscillation:
1. Presser sur le Bouton Oscillation permettra à la Chaufferette
d’osciller dans un mouvement d’aller-retour. Pour arrêter
l’oscillation, presser à nouveau sur le Bouton Oscillation.
Fonction Temporisation (Figure 3)
1. La fonction temporisation peut être activée à tous les réglages
de vitesse ou de température de la Chaufferette. Cette fonction
vous permet d’établir une durée de temps que la Chaufferette
fonctionnera avant de s’éteindre d’elle-même, de 1 heure à
7 heures. Presser sur le Bouton Temporisation augmentera
la durée de temps, en combinaisons de 1, 2 et 4 heures.
Presser de manière continue sur le bouton résultera à ce que la
temporisation sera réglée à 7 heures. La Chaufferette s’éteindra
lorsque la durée de temps réglée sera écoulée. On peut rallumer
l’unité en pressant sur le Bouton Temporisation.
Fonction Température (Figure 2)
1. Pour régler la température de la pièce à un certain degré, presser
sur le Bouton de Température au réglage désiré. Le témoin
lumineux sous la température choisie continuera de clignoter
jusqu’à ce que la température désirée soit atteinte.

TÉLÉCOMMANDE:
Toutes les fonctions effectuées avec la Télécommande fonctionnent
de manière identique aux contrôles manuels. (Figure 4)
1. Installer les deux piles AAA. Piles non comprises.
2. Ne pas mélanger de piles neuves avec des piles usagées. Ne
pas mélanger des piles alcalines, standard (carbone - zinc) ou
rechargeable (nickel - cadmium).

OPÉRATION (Figure 1)
1. Retirer soigneusement la Chaufferette de son sac plastique et de sa boîte.
2. Placer la Chaufferette sur une surface ferme et à niveau.
AVERTISSEMENT: Les pattes de plastique ou de caoutchouc,
comme les pattes sur cette unité, peuvent coller aux surfaces des
meubles et/ou aux planchers de bois franc. L’unité peut laisser
un résidu qui pourrait assombrir, tacher ou laisser des traces
permanentes sur le fini de certaines surfaces de meuble, incluant
les surfaces en bois, et/ou sur les planchers de bois franc.
3. Brancher le cordon dans une prise de courant à 120 volts.
Assurez-vous que la fiche s’insère fermement dans la prise.
4. Lorsque la Chaufferette est branchée initialement, un bip sonore
retentira et le Témoin Lumineux d’Alimentation s’illuminera
pour indiquer que l’unité est alimentée. Le Témoin Lumineux
d’Alimentation restera illuminé jusqu’à ce que la Chaufferette
soit débranchée de la prise de courant.
5. Mettre la Chaufferette EN MARCHE en pressant sur le
Bouton de Puissance.
6. Lorsque mise en marche initialement, la Chaufferette sera à
la chaleur Élevée (1500 watts) au réglage Max. (Le témoin
lumineux Élevé sera en continu et le témoin lumineux Max
clignotera).
7. Presser sur le Bouton de Puissance une fois et la Chaufferette
sera à la chaleur Faible (900 watts), tel qu’indiqué par le témoin
lumineux en continu près de (Faible).
8. Presser une troisième fois sur le Bouton de Puissance pour
ÉTEINDRE la Chaufferette.
9. Lorsque la Chaufferette est ÉTEINTE, le témoin lumineux rouge
sur la Chaufferette restera illuminé jusqu’à ce que la Chaufferette
soit débranchée de la prise de courant.
DESCRIPTION
L’appareil de chauffage céramique à oscillation Air King® dispose de 2
réglages de chaleur. Il oscille sur 45˚ et est fourni avec une télécommande
pour plus de commodité. Il comporte également une minuterie intégrée,
permettant jusqu’à 7 heures et demie de fonctionnement avant l’arrêt
automatique et un cordon électrique 16/3 avec terre, de 1.82 m (6 pi) de
long.

• ALWAYS PLUG HEATERS DIRECTLY INTO A WALL OUTLET/RECEPTACLE. NEVER USE WITH AN EXTENSION CORD. DO
NOT PLUG HEATER INTO ANY OTHER CORD CONNECTED DEVICE, SUCH AS A POWER STRIP, SURGE PROTECTOR,
MULTIPLE OUTLET ADAPTER, CORD REEL OR OUTLET-TYPE AIR FRESHENER. THE USE OF SUCH DEVICES MAY CREATE
A FIRE HAZARD. PLUG UNIT DIRECTLY INTO A 120V WALL OUTLET ONLY.

•The Life Safety Code© by the National Fire Protection Association prohibits space heaters within smoke compartments containing
patient sleeping areas and treatment areas in healthcare occupancies such as hospitals, nursing homes, and ambulatory occupancies
such as surgery centers.
• Make certain that the power source conforms to the electrical requirements of the Heater.
• Extreme caution is necessary when any Heater is used by or near children or invalids. The Heater should not be left
operating unattended. Never leave children unattended when the heater is on or plugged in.
• The power cord is equipped with a three-prong grounded plug that must be inserted into a matching receptacle.
Under no circumstances must the grounding prong be cut off the plug. Where a two-prong wall receptacle is
encountered, it must be replaced with a properly grounded three-prong receptacle installed in accordance with
the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable local codes and ordinances. This work must be done only
by a qualified electrician, using copper wire only.
• DO NOT use the Heater in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored. DO NOT use Heater in locations
where flammable or explosive chemicals are stored, or in wet atmospheres.
• Do not operate any Heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the Heater malfunctions, or has been dropped or damaged in any
manner. To disconnect Heater, turn the Heater OFF then remove the plug from the outlet.
• Always unplug Heater when not in use. Unplug power cord before servicing or moving the Heater.
• Do not insert or allow fingers or foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as it may cause an electric shock, fire, or
damage the Heater. Do not block or tamper with the Heater in any manner while it is in operation.
• Do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not place on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings
may become blocked. Do not depend on the on/off switch as the sole means of disconnecting power when servicing or moving the
heater. Always unplug the power cord.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
When using electrical appliances, these instructions and warnings should always be
followed to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock and injury to persons:

• Always place the Heater on a stable, flat, level surface when operating, to avoid the chance of the Heater overturning. Locate the Power Cord so the
Heater or other objects are not resting on it. DO NOT run Power Cord under carpeting. DO NOT cover Power Cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar
coverings as this may cause cord to overheat. Arrange Power Cord away from room traffic and where it will not be tripped over.
• This Heater is HOT when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Always use handle when moving this Heater. Keep
combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the Heater and keep
them at least 1 foot (0.3 m) from the sides and rear.
• This Heater is not intended for use in wet or damp locations. This Heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor
locations. NEVER locate a Heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
• DO NOT use Heater outdoors.
• Remote controls for other appliances or electronic equipment can sometimes interfere with the operation of this Heater. If this occurs, move the
Heater to another location or discontinue use of other equipment.
• Keep Heater remote control unit away from chairs and your bed where it may be sat or laid upon and inadvertently turn on the Heater.
• This Heater is not suitable for use in agricultural facilities including areas where livestock, poultry or other animals are confined. Please refer
to National Electric Code (NEC) Article 547-7 (2008), or applicable state or local codes or standards relating to electrical requirements for
Agricultural Buildings. THIS HEATER DOES NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF NEC ARTICLE 547-7 (2008).
• This Heater is not suitable for use in hazardous locations. Please refer to National Electric Code (NEC) Article 500 or applicable state or local codes
or standards relating to electrical requirements for Hazardous locations. THIS HEATER DOES NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF NEC
ARTICLE 500 (2008).
