1. Disconnect the negative battery cable!

Lift up on the front of the and beauty cover and

remove it from the vehicle. Push down on the radia-

tor hose, and separate the tube from the plastic

clamp.

2. Disconnect the breather tube from the intake

tube, by gently pulling towards you. An O-ring is

all that holds it in place. Next loosen the hose clamp

on the intake tube at the throttle body, and at the

Mass Air Sensor, and remove the tube from the ve-

hicle.

3. With a 10mm socket remove the two nuts, and

the two bolts that hold the throttle body to the intake

manifold. Without disconnecting the wiring harness,

set the throttle body aside.

4. With a 4mm socket, remove the two studs that

held the throttle body to the intake manifold.

Tools Required For Installation

10mm Deep Socket

4mm, 5/16” Sockets

5/32” Allen Wrench

Poweraid Spacer Throttle body Fiber Gasket 5. Install 2 of the supplied bolts (#2) and washers (#3) thru the two holes in the top of the throttle body, thru the supplied fiber gasket (#4), thru the Poweraid Spacer, and into the two brass inserts in the intake manifold. Run the bolts in a few threads with your fingers. Use caution not to cross-thread the bolts.
