TROUBLESHOOTING
Trouble Probable Cause Remedy
Common to All Models
Control panel does not
respond to input.
• No Power. • Check 120 volt power source.
Poor evaporation of water.
• Mineral buildup on filter
(wick).
• Change to a fresh wick
NOTE: Local water varies from area
to area and under certain conditions
minerals will build up more rapidly in
the wick
Water leaking from unit. • Reservoir is over filled
Fill only to level indicated inside
tank.
Not enough humidity
• Humidity level is not set high
enough.
• Wick not absorbing water
• Turn humidity level up.
• Increase fan speed.
• Replace wick
Analog Units (CM330AWHT & CM330ABLK)
Fan not operating
ROOM humidity level is not
3% or more below SET
humidity level.
• Raise SET humidity level if
desired.
• Increase fan speed.
Fan running continuously.
Highest humidity level is
selected (80%)
• ROOM humidity level has
not reached 1% or more
above SET humidity level.
• Reduce SET level
• Continue to run until desired
humidity level is achieved. This
may take up to 48 hours initially.
Digital Units (CM330DWHT & CM330DBLK)
Fan not operating
ROOM humidity level is not
3% or more below SET
humidity level.
Push humidity button to higher
setting.
• Increase fan speed.
Fan running continuously.
• Highest humidity level is
selected (65%)
• ROOM humidity level has
not reached 1% or more
above SET humidity level.
• Reduce SET level
• Continue to run until desired
humidity level is achieved. This
may take up to 48 hours initially.
Three humidity lights
blinking and fan turns off.
Humidty level has reached
91%.
When humidity level falls to
approximately 86% the fan will turn
back on.
