System

Configuration

Click

left

hand

panel

This

directs

you

to

the

System

Configuration

–

Operating

page.

Select

the

radio

of

Wireless

Access

Point, Wireless

Bridging

or

Wireless

Client

to

switch

WH-5000A

to

AP,

Bridge

or

Client

mode

and press

Apply

button.

This

screen

allows

you

to

set

the

operating mode

to

Wireless

Access

Point,

Wireless Bridge

or

Wireless

Client

mode.

You

only need

to

visit

this

page

if

you

will

be

changing modes.

Note

that

if

you

change

modes

your configuration

will

be

lost.

System

Configuration

–

WAN

Click

the

for

System

Configuration

This

directs

you

to

the

System

Configuration

–

WAN

page.

Static

IP

The

default

setting

of

WAN

port

IP

is

“Specify

a

static

IP

address”.

You

need

input

the information

that

the

AP

requires

in

order

to allow

the

WH-

5000A

access

to

the

wired

LAN. This

will

be

the

IP

address,

Subnet

Mask,

Default

Gateway,

and,

where

needed,

DNS1 and

2.

The

default

WAN

port

value

is

IP

Address:

192.168.254.254,

Subnet

Mask:

255.255.255.0,

Default

Gateway:

192.168.254.1.

Static

IP

Note:

After

changing

the

network

address

you

will

no

longer

be

able

to

access

the

above

configuration

page

with

the

default

IP

address.

You

will

have

to

change

the

browser

URL

to

reflect

the

new

IP

address

and

log

in

again.
