Introduce
The
AirLive WH-5000A
is
a
Secure
IEEE
802.11
a/b/g
Wireless
LAN
device
and
supports
three
different
operating modes:
`
Wireless
Access
Point
(WAP)
`
Wireless
Client
(STA),
and
`
Wireless
Bridge
(WDS)
The
WH-5000A
is
designed
as
a
high
security
wireless
network
device.
They
are
with
the
following
cryptographic modules:
WEP
(64,128or
152
bits)
,
WPA
(TKIP)
or
WPA2
(AES)
in
AP
mode,
and
AES-
CCMP
(128
bits)
for
the
bridging
mode;
and
HTTPS/TLS
for
secure
web
communication.
Moreover,
the
WH-5000A
provides
the wireless
client
MAC
address
filtering,
Rogue
AP
detection
to
protect
your
wireless
network.
With
support
of
802.11
a/b/g
standards,
the
WH-5000A
works
at
2.4GHz
(802.11b/g)
and
5GHz
(802.11a). Besides
with
54Mbps
transmit
data
rate
of
802.11
a/g
and
11Mbps
transmit
data
rate
of
802.11b,
the
WH-5000A also
provides
Super
G
/
Turbo
A
function.
(Turbo
A
mode
doesn’t
support
at
ETSI
domain
region.)
the
802.11g
Super
and
802.11a
Turbo
technologies
provide
speed
and
throughput
of
more
than
double
standard
wireless
LAN
technologies
in
networking
products.
The
Maximum
link
speed
available
is
108Mbps
and
the
typical
maximum
end-user
throughput
ranges
from
approximately
40Mbps
to
60+Mbps,
depending
on application
demand
and
network
environment.
The
others
features
are
AP
load
balance,
AP
layer
2
isolation
and
Bridge
Site
Map.
The
following
figure
illustrates
a
wireless
system
using
the
WH-5000A
in
al
three
modes.
