3. Slide the SIM panel cover to the open position.
4. Place your SIM card into the SIM card holder, ensuring its orientation is correct as
shown on the device.
5. Push the SIM card into the SIM card holder until it locks in place.
6. Replace the SIM panel cover, and reinsert and tighten the screws.
Installing an SDcard
The device includes 512 GB of onboard storage. To expand the storage, use a microSD
card. SD cards up to 2 TB are supported.
CAUTION – The SD card door can be damaged if handled carelessly. Take care not
to twist or warp the door when opening or closing it.

If the device is on, turn it off; tap
/ Power/ Shut down.
2. Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen the screws to remove both the module bay covers
from the back of the device.
NOTE – If you are using EMPOWERmodules, remove them in the same way.
3. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the screws to open the SD bay door.
4. Place the SD card into the SD card slot.
5. Close the SDbay door, and tighten the screws.
6. Replace the module bay covers, or if using modules, re-attach them. See Using Trimble
EMPOWER modules, page 45.
Installing a screen protector
The T100 tablet is fitted with a chemically strengthened glass touchscreen which is highly
resistant to abrasion and impact damage. However to ensure maximum protection, it is
recommended that you use a Trimble-approved T100 tablet screen protector.
To install a screen protector:
1. Place the device on a clean, flat surface.
2. Clean the touchscreen with a damp cloth, alcohol wipe or similar.
3. Polish and dry the screen to remove any dust with a lint-free cleaning cloth.
4. Remove the protective film from the screen protector.
