Operating system and software updates
Periodically, operating system and software application updates will be available for your
device.
Windows 10 updates
The Windows 10 operating system periodically checks for updates so you don’t have to.
When an update is available, it is automatically downloaded and installed keeping your
device up-to-date with the latest features.
Installing the latest updates can help fix common issues, but you must be online to
download the updates. If you are having trouble connecting and downloading updates
because your wireless network is too slow, you can try using a wired network via the Office
Cradle accessory.
Once online, to check for and install the latest updates manually, go to Settings / Update &
security / Windows Update, and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your
device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available.
For more information about Windows updates, refer to the official Windows Update FAQ on
www.microsoft.com.
Software downloads and updates
The latest versions of software including drivers, firmware updates, and software utilities,
are available on the technical support pages on www.trimble.com.
