TSTAT0709 and TSTAT0710

Losing Time on 50Hz Power.

If you receive a complaint that the TSTAT0709 or TSTAT0710

are losing time (usually 10 minutes every hour) then it is

likely that the Hertz setting is 60, and it will be

necessary to reset the Hertz setting on the thermostat at

the site.

This is a simple procedure:

1. Press and hold MODE. While you are holding MODE press

and hold the FAN button.

2. All icons will be displayed

3. Press the UP and DOWN arrow buttons at the same time,

twice.

4. The temperature will be displayed in the middle of the

screen and the Hertz setting will be displayed in the lower

right hand corner.

5. For the TSTAT0709: Press and hold the FAN, PROGRAM

ON/OFF, and BACKLIGHT buttons for 5 seconds until the

number changes to 50.

6. For the TSTAT0710: Press and hold the FAN, VACATION,

and SET CLOCK buttons for 5 seconds until the number

changes to 50.

7. Press mode to save changes and exit to normal

operation.
