5.2. Single Antenna Installations

1. If modem shelves 3 and 4 are not installed it is possible to install only 1 antenna and

connect the feeder to the output port of DIP/LNA1 Unit.

2. If the Combiner Shelf is not equipped with DIP/LNA2 or TX Filter, it is recommended

that the second antenna should be terminated with a 50Ω termination. The termination

can be made either at the base of the dipole if only one feeder is fitted, or at the base of

the second feeder if the second feeder has been provided in readiness for future shelf

expansion.
