NOTES ON USING DETAIL LEVEL PROCEDURES

1. This section explains the use of the Detail Level Procedures (DLP)

2. The DLPs are organised into sections relating to the equipment being worked on.

Inevitably there are procedures that bridge between equipment and references may

often be made to procedures in other sections. As far as possible the procedures are

designed so that the procedures follow in a logical order through the processes of

configuring and managing a network.

3. The DLPs are sectioned as follows.

DLP Use

1-50 General AS8100 Sitespan procedures and procedures common to all

variants

51-100 AS4000 Fixed Assignment specific procedures

101-200 AS4000 Demand Assignment specific procedures
