Appendix 1 BNC Terminations to Coax

Slide metal crimp sleeve over cable,trim outer sheath from cable as

shown.

Trim back braid and dielectric to the dimensions as shown.

Fit contact over the centre conductor to butt against the dilectric,

then crimp.

Press sub-assembly into body, until contact clicks into place and

ensuring that the knurled ferrule is inserted between the dilectric

and braid

Slide the sleeve along the cable, until it butts against the body sub-

assembly. Crimp using VQ die.
