MULTI-PURPOSE USES FOR
DIFFERENT APPLICATIONS
The S1 is a multi-purpose 1D linear
imager scanner that is ideal for retail,
light manufacturing, healthcare, and
other industry applications. It is designed
as an entry level product created
specifically for reading long or truncated
barcodes, both of which are commonly
encountered.
The S1 imager has a small, lightweight
and ergonomic design that is
accommodating to high daily usage. It
offers excellent reading performance on
most 1D barcodes and features a wide
scanning angle with an extended scanning
line which is perfect for capturing longer
and wider barcodes that are typically
found on utility bills, mail, and electronic
parts.
Additionally, the S1 offers a thinner and
brighter scanning line, which allows
users to scan at wide angles without
having to increase the scanning
distance.
VERSATILE SCANNER
While it is not recommended for
industrial manufacturing, the S1 has
been designed with over-molded rubber
to protect the imager if and when it is
dropped.
The S1 is capable of withstanding
repeated drops from 5 feet onto a
concrete surface and maintains an
IP42 water and particulate sealing
rating.
