15.4.11 On Unit Controls and Indicators
15.4.11.1 All models Expect for Floor/Ceiling model
STAND BY
INDICATOR
1. Lights up when the Air Conditioner is connected to power and the
mode is STBY.
2. Blinks for 3 times at 600 msec each cycle, when the system is
switched to Heat Mode by using the Mode/Reset Switch on the unit
(the operation indicator will be off during this blinking time).
OPERATION
INDICATOR
1. Lights up during operation mode (except for item in STBY indicator).
2. Blinks for 600 msec. cycle, to announce that a R/C infrared signal
has been received and stored.
3. Blinks continuously during protections (according to the relevant spec
section).
4. Blinks for 3 times at 600 msec each cycle when the system is
switched to Cool Mode by using the Mode/Reset Switch on the unit
TIMER INDICATOR
Lights up during Timer and Sleep operation.
FILTER INDICATOR
Lights up when Air Filter needs to be cleaned.
Mode/Reset Button
As long as the filter Led is off, the Mode/Reset button functions as Mode
switch. Once filter Led is on, the Mode/Reset button functions as Reset
switch. Mode Function:
Every short pressing , the next operation mode is selected, in this order:
SB — Cool Mode — Heat Mode — SB — ... In long pressing system
enters diagnostic mode (refer to diagnostic mode Sect.)
Reset Function: For short pressing:
When Filter LED is on, it turns off the filter indicator.
15.4.11.2 Indoor Unit Controller and Indicators
The following is schematic drawing for the display:
Run Mode
Run mode is the default operation mode of the system. This is the standard operation mode that is
active in field application (at customer site).
System can go from run mode to other operation modes through keyboard or serial ports
