PRESElllNG CHANNELS
Up to 181 TV and CATV channels can be received and preset in the
internal tuner. Do this procedure on the remote control, after setting the
video channel (page 22) and selecting the VCR mode.

Press the MENU button.
The main MENU screen appears.
Select”5 TUNER PRESET” from the MENU screen.
Press the V (4 times) and > buttons.
The TUNER PRESET screen appears.
Select the BAND.
Press the > or< button to select the TV or CATV.
TV: For standard TV channels
CATV: For cable TV channels
Press the V button to move to the “PRESET AUTO setting.
Start the AUTO PRESET.
Press the > button to starl tuning.
The unit begins scanning up from the lowest channel, and the channel
number (CH NO,) changes showing the scanning position.
When a channel in your area is received, the picture appears on the
TV screen fora few seconds, and the channel is preset. Then, the unit
continues scanning for the next station to preset.
After the scan is complete, the unit tune to the channel first preset.
The channels can now be selected cyclically with the CHANNEL
DOWN/UP V A button.
