MEMORY FUNCTIONS
COUNTER MEMORY FIJNCTION
Anyscenecan be located on a tape. When winding the tape, the unit stops
when the tape counter reaches approximately “OHOOMOOS”.Do this
procedure on the remote control.

Activate the COUNTER MEMORY function.
Press the COUNTER CLOCK button so that the tape counter appears
in the display. Then press the COUNTER MEMORY button so that
“MEMO appears.
Reset the counter at the desirf?d point.
Press the COUNTER RESET button.
After playback, stop and rewirid/fast-forward the tape.
Press the ■ STOP, then the +/REW/@3 or @/F FWDE button.
Thetapeautomatically stops when the counter returns to approximately
“OHOOMOOS”.
To display the tape counter on thle TV screen
Press the COUNTER DISPLAY button twice.
● This unit uses three color formats. The counter will not display the
correct count when switching between these formats. This is normal
and does not mean the VCR is malfunctioning.
● The tape counter does not operate over non recorded portions of a
tape.
● The tape counter is automatically reset to “00:00:00 when a tape is
inserted or ejected.
