Switches the unit on and off (standby).

CD: displays the track number being played and elapsed
playing time, the remaining time of play, and the volume
level.
Radio: displays the frequency of the tuned station and
the volume level.
eco/demo
When the unit is turned off: selects ECO mode, DEMO
mode or displays the clock.
When the unit is turned on: selects DEMO mode.

4 function
Switches the active function among FM, AM, AUX and
CD.
5 Operation dial
Move this dial up, down, left or right to change functions.
enter/color
Determines the mode and the time (clock and timer). Also
selects the display color.
cpreset
CD: starts play.
Radio: tunes in a preset station.
sclear
CD: stops play.
Radio: clears a preset station.
r/f, g/t
CD: skips to a previous or a succeeding track when
pushed, and searches a track in fast forward or reverse
play when kept pushed.
Radio: manually tunes up or down within the band.
6 aset
CD: pauses play.
Radio: stores the received station to preset.
7 OPEN
Opens the disc compartment.
8 sound/timer
Adjusts the sound, sets the timer and turns the speaker
lights on or off.
9 volume (N / M)
Adjusts the volume.
