MEMORIZING THE NEW DSP SURROUND
SOUND
Up to 5 DSP SURROUND sounds can be memorized as the
manual modes Ml - M5.

1 Set a new DSP SURROUND sound with DELAY
TIME, EFFECT, and MULTI JOG.
See “SETTING A NEW DSP SURROUND SOUND
MANUALLY”.
2 Within 8 seconds, press ENTER.
The pointer flashes to select ene of the manual modes
Ml - M5.
If this step is not completed within 8 seconds, press
SURROUND first to display “DSP ON” on the stereo receiver.
Then press ENTER within 4 seconds.
3 Within 8 seconds, turn MULTI JOG to select one
of the manual modes M1 - M5.
4 Within 8 seconds, press ENTER.
The new DSP SURROUND sound is memorized.
To select the stored DSP SURROUND sound
Press SURROUND, and turn MULTI JOG to select one of the
manual modes M1 - M5 within 4 seconds.
At this time the corresponding graphic equalizer mode is selected
automatically.
When the MIC or ECHO level is changed (page 22), the DSP
SURROUND mode is automatically canceled.
To adjust the volume of the surround speakers
Press MANUAL SELECT twice or three times on the remote
control.
“S-L” or “S-R" is displayed for 2 seconds. Press ◄◄ DOWN or
►► UP on the remote control within these 2 seconds.
The DOLBY PRO LOGIC (page 15) and the DOLBY DIGITAL
SURROUND (page 35) surround speakers level is also
changed.
The SURROUND mode is canceled when:
- the MIC or ECHO level is changed.
- the DOLBY PRO LOGIC is turned on.
- the headphones are plugged in.
- the 5.1 CH (page 35) is selected.
