This unit plays back finalized CD-R/RW discs as well as audio
CDs.
Playing CDs
1 Press zOPEN/CLOSE to open the CD window
and load disc(s).
Fit the disc center hole to the pivot of the tray with the
label side facing you and press down the part around
the hole
until the disc is securely locked.
CD OPERATIONS
2 To play two or three discs, press the desired DISC
DIRECT PLAY 1-3 / DISC CHANGE to rotate the
tray and load a disc in the same way as step 1.
The selected tray number appears in the display.
3 Press zOPEN/CLOSE to close the CD window.
Total track number and total playing time of the currently
selected disc will be displayed after the unit reads it.
4 To play all the discs (all disc play), press CDE.
To play one desired disc (single disc play), press
DISC DIRECT PLAY 1-3.
Playing disc number appears in the display.
To switch between all disc play and single disc play
during play
Press one flashing button (a currently playing disc number
button) of DISC DIRECT PLAY 1-3 during play.
•In single disc play, only one button of DISC DIRECT PLAY
1-3 lights up and flashes.
To stop play
Press s.
To pause play
Press CDE. Press again to resume play.
To skip to the beginning of the current/preceding/
succeeding track
Press f or g repeatedly .
To search (playback in fast forward or reverse)
Hold down f or g. Release at the desired point.
To select a track with the remote control (Direct play)
Press the numbered buttons to select a track.
-To select the 25th track, press +10, +10 and 5.
-To select the 11th track, press +10 and 1.
To change the display in playback mode
Press DISPLAY during play.
The display changes in the following order:
Track number being played and elapsed playing time
Remaining time of play
•Remaining time of play cannot be displayed during

1,
random or programmed play.
To remove the disc
Press zOPEN/CLOSE to open the CD window, hold the
disc in hand and press PUSH on the pivot so that the disc is
released.
