60.2 Format Alarm
When set to Normal (default), an alarm will be triggered whenever the format of the
selected input video signal is incompatible with the selected output format (refer to
the matrix of inputs and compatibilities presented in Chapter 2). If you want the
FS1 alarm to only trigger on hardware failures, you can suppress the Format Alarm.
60.3 Reference Alarm
This parameter controls how the FS1 responds to various reference video signal
conditions. When set to Normal, the alarm will trigger when:
1. The reference signal is incompatible with the selected output format or is not
detected at all.
2. The reference signal is required, due either to 1.1 Output format set to “Follow
Ref” or 6.1 Genlock Source set to “Reference.”
If you want the FS1 alarm to only trigger on hardware failures, you can suppress the
Format Alarm.

Parameter Adjustments:

Alarm triggers if the format of the selected input video signal is incompatible with
the selected output format.
Alarm will not be triggered by a format incompatibility.
60.3 Reference Alarm Description of Choices

The alarm triggers if the reference is missing or incompatible with the selected
output format.
Alarms are not triggered if the reference is missing or incompatible with the output.
