Configuring Quad
SDI I/O
This section describes the AJA Control Panel operations specific to UHD/4K Format
selection.
Output Configuration: When you use the Control Panel Format screen to select a UHD or 4K format for the Io 4K
output, you must also make sure the default output mode (Control screen setting) is set
to “Test Pattern.” Then the SDI connectors 1–4 will automatically configure as outputs
(see Figure 46).

NOTE: When you select a UHD/4K format, the HDMI monitor output can be set to Full (shown below)
or will display the Output Mode selection icon (as shown on the SDI Mon output) when a
quarter or quadrant output signal is selected (see “HDMI Screen in 4K Mode” on page 50 for
output options).
