AKDY Island Mount Range Hood: Type B (Cage)

Take the smaller lower support frame and
fasten it to the range hood main unit with the
included screws.
Place the smaller lower support frame and
set it into place over the air damper.
Each corner uses 4 screws to attach the
support frame to the main unit.
Fasten the two support frames together by
inserting screws into the pill-shaped cutouts.
Lift and slip the larger support frame over the
smaller one. Adjust it to the ceiling dropdown
length desired for your installation.
The completed support frames will have 4
sets of screws for each side with the pill-
shaped cutouts.
Slip the outer chimney cover over the support
frames.
Note the orientation of the outer chimney
cover. The indentations are on the side of the
range hood when viewed from the front of the
unit.
