Feed the duct pipe and power cord up
through the support frames and into your
ceiling’s ductwork.
Slip the inner chimney cover into the outer
chimney cover. Match the orientation of the
indentations to each cover. They will slip in
freely and require no force.
Your installation should look similar to what is
shown. Both chimney covers are in place
resting on the base of the unit. An extra set of
hands may be required for the next step.
Slide up the inner chimney cover onto the
ceiling plate.
Lift the entire range hood up onto the ceiling
plate. Note that the ceiling plate lip fits on the
outside of the upper support frame. Fasten
each corner of the ceiling plate to the support
frame. Two screws are used at each corner.
Secure the inner chimney cover to the ceiling
plate.
Plug in the power cord to the outlet in the
ceiling. If no outlet is available, one will need
to be installed. The outlet can also be in-
stalled outside of the ceiling, but modification
to the inner chimney will be required to ac-
