3.2. Traktor PRO 2
1. EFFECTS
This area provides full control over SINGLE and GROUP
operating modes of the Traktor FX units.
- FX: This button enables the FX mode.
- SGL: Select single (SGL) layout.
Shift (ZOOM IN): Expands the waveform making Zoom in.
- GRP: Select group (GRP) layout.
Shift (ZOOM OUT): Reduces the waveform making Zoom out.
SINGLE MODE (SGL):
- DRY/WET: You can modify the proportion of effect.
Shift (FX SEL.): Choose one effect from the list.
- 1st, 2nd & 3rd KNOB: You can modify the 1st, 2nd & 3rd
parameter of the selected effect.
- ON: FX unit ON/OFF.
Shift (FX SEL.): Select the next effect from the list.
- RST/ON: Sets the defaults settings.
- BT1/ON: 1st button function ON/OFF. This function depends
on the effect you have selected.
- BT2/ON: 2nd button function ON/OFF. This function depends
on the effect you have selected.
GROUP MODE (GRP):
- DRY/WET (DW): You can modify the proportion of effect. In
this case, the effect is the result of the three chained effects.
- 1st, 2nd & 3rd KNOB: You can modify the proportion of the
1st, 2nd & 3rd effect of the unit.
Shift (FX SEL.): Choose one effect from the list.
- ON: No function.
- RST/ON: 1st effect ON/OFF.
Shift (FX 1 SEL.): Select the next effect from the list.
- BT1/ON: 2nd effect ON/OFF.
Shift (FX 2 SEL.): Select the next effect from the list.
- BT2/ON: 3rd effect ON/OFF.
Shift (FX 3 SEL.): Select the next effect from the list.
2. SAMPLER
When you select SAMPLE mode, this group of buttons allows
you to control the main samples functions. In addition, more
functions can be controlled by selecting the Deck C (you can
find more info in REMIX DECK section).
- SP: This button enables the SAMPLER mode.
- S1~S4: You can modify the slots volume of the REMIX DECK
by these 4 knobs.
Shift (FILTER): You can modify the slots filter of the REMIX
DECK by these 4 knobs.
- PLAY BUTTONS (
): The buttons of this section represent
the slots of REMIX DECK. Each one has different functions
depending on the slot state.
Slot playing: Mute the slot.
Slot stopped: Start the slot playback.
Empty slot: You can load the loop from the TRACK DECK
(Deck A / Deck B).
Shift (Stop/Delete/Load From List): Under shift, these
buttons also have a different behaviour depending on the slot
state.
Slot playing: Stop the slot.
Slot stopped: Unload the sample.
Empty slot: Load one sample from tracklist.
3. TRACK DECK
- PITCH FADER: You can modify the deck tempo.
- 1~4 BUTTONS: The buttons of this section allow you to set 4
hotcues.
Shift (DELETE HOTCUE): You can delete the hotcue of that
button.
- DECK: Switch between TRACK DECK (Deck A) and REMIX
DECK (Deck C). Led on indicates that we are controlling the
Deck C.
- /2: Halves the loop size.
