1. CONTROLS AND CONNECTIONS
1.1. Top panel
1. Controls distribution for an optimal use of Virtual DJ and
Traktor.
2. Touch sensible wheel with sensibility adjustment and 600
step resolution.
3. Big rubber buttons for longer lifespan.
4. Control of up to 4 Decks. MIDI notes are sent through
different MIDI channels upon selection; DECK A/B or C/D.
LEDs status are refreshed by firmware.
5. 8 potentiometers and 8 buttons independent of deck status
to control effects and/or samples.
6. 4 channel MIDI section with which standard mixer functions
can be controlled like 3-band equalizer, gain, volume fader and
crossfader. Furthermore, there is a knob per channel to control
the “Filter” effect. Master and Booth level controls can be found
in the mixer section.
7. The 5 buttons and 1 encoder located in the middle of the
mixer section can be used to browse and load songs as well
as to control the loop recorder section of Traktor PRO 2.
8. Two functions can be assigned to the same control thanks
to the SHIFT button.
1.2. Front panel
1. TOUCH SENSITIVITY
- Turn TOUCH SENSITIVE knobs to adjust the sensitivity.
When adjusting the sensitivity, be conscious of extreme
settings which may affect your performance. Setting the
sensitivity too high (clockwise) would engage the touch
sensitivity with the hand just above the wheel. Setting the
sensitivity too low (anticlockwise) may not engage the touch
even while pressing firmly on the wheel.
2. MICROPHONE
- Connect a microphone into the MIC input. Microphone signal
is mixed with the Master output.
- Volume can be adjusted by turning the MIC LEVEL knob.
3. LINE IN SELECT
- Activate or deactivate the Line IN 1 on Deck C or Line IN 2 on
Deck D.
4. CROSSFADER
- Select the curve of the crossfader: smooth or cut.
5. HEADPHONES
- Connect your headphones to the jack.
- Adjust the amount of signal corresponding to MASTER or
HEADPHONES by turning the HEADPHONES BAL knob.
- Volume can be adjusted by turning the HEADPHONES
LEVEL knob.
