MODEL PARTS INFORMATION

Break-A-Way, Assemble or Dis-Assemble

2500 & 3500 Models

1. DO NOT ATTEMPT this without Tool # 0161700 (Old # 1617) and following Instructions

as shown in Figure 1 and Figure 2. Tool No. 0161700 is Optional Purchase & not furnished

with Units.

2 Tension on Springs are very severe, DO NOT REMOVE bolts on Spring Lock till tension

on spring has been removed from against the Stop Block.

3 When releasing pressure on Spring release puller slowly notch at a time till all pressure

is released and then the Break-A-Way assembly can be dis-asembled.

4 When the Spring is re-installed & the Tool # 0161700 is used to re-load Spring Tension

pull on tool till Spring clears Bolt Holes for Spring Stop Block, After Bolting & Tightening

down Stop Block begin to slowly release pressure on spring till Spring touches Stop

Block.

5 Remove Tool # 0161700 from Unit before operating Cutter.

3500 Models

1. See Figure 3 to the Right.

2. To Adjust Break-A-Way on the

3500 Model, Tighten or loosen

the Spring Adjusting Bolt, Tighten

for more tension and loosen for

less tension.

3. DO NOT Tighten till Spring is

bottomed out, this WILL Damage
