1) It must be possible to completely isolate the appliance electrically.
2) The following connection alternatives must be used: A 3 amp fused
three-pin plug and unswitched shuttered socket outlet or a double
pole isolator with a contact separation of 3 mm in all poles and sup-
plying the appliance and controls only.
3) The appliance must be earthed.
4) Use the original mains cable provided with the boiler. If there is dam-
age, it should be replaced with an original spare by authorized Alarko
Carrier services.
