Section 3-HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION

EMERGENCY OVERVIEW: Potential Health Effects:

Primary Entry Routes: Eyes, skin, ingestion. Target Organs: Eyes, skin,

gastrointestinal tract.

Acute Effects: Eye: May cause irritation, redness and/or burning. Skin: May cause irritation, redness and/or

burning. Ingestion: May be harmful if swallowed. May cause abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting and/or diarrhea.

Medical Conditions Aggravated by Long-Term Exposure: Persons with existing skin lesions should exercise caution when using or

handling this product.

Chronic Effects: Prolonged skin contact may cause dermatitis.

Section 4-FIRST AID MEASURES

Eye Contact: Flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention. Skin Contact: Wash affected area with mild

soap and water. Get medical attention if irritation persists or develops.

Ingestion: DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Give large quantities

of water. Get immediate medical attention. .

Note to Physicians: Product contains low levels of sulfuric acid.

Section 5-FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

Flash Point: NA. Flammability Classification: Non-flammable. Extinguishing Media for Surrounding Area: Water spray, dry chemical,

carbon dioxide, foam.

Unusual Fire or Explosion Hazards: Containers exposed to fire may rupture violently. Keep containers cool with

water spray.

Hazardous Combustion Products: Oxides of nitrogen and/or sulfur. Fire-Fighting Instructions: Fire fighters should wear

full protective equipment and self-contained breathing apparatus. Prevent runoff from entering water systems. Keep non-essential

personnel out of fire area.

Section 6-ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Spill/Leak Procedures: Small Spills: Prevent spill from entering water systems. Absorb spill on inert material such as clay, vermiculite

or kitty litter. Place absorbed material into labeled container for proper disposal.

Section 7- HANDLING and STORAGE

Handling Precautions: Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Do not take internally. Wash after handling. Do not contaminate

water by disposal of equipment wash waters.

Storage Requirements: Store in a cool, dry area preferably locked and out of reach of

children.
