Maximum heart rate (maximum heart rate, MHR, or HRmax)
refers to the maximum heart rate for optimizing exercise or stamina.
It is often used as the prescribed index for training output in order to
find the THR. The most direct and accurate method of measuring the
maximum heart rate is to have this done by a doctor or professional.
An Exerc
ise Stress Test is conducted and monitoring is done by an
electrocardiograph (ECG). Or you can use the simple age formula to
calculate your personal maximum heart rate.
