Legal Issues This scanning receiver corresponds to european EMC regulations 89/336 EEC and carries the CE mark. It is designed to be used in home and outdoor areas. Listening to public radio transmission (e.g. amateur radio, whether radio, broadcast stations) is allowed anywhere in Europe, while receiving of non-public transmissions, like private mobile radio, telephone calls, police radio etc. is restricted in almost all european countries.
