MHz). Features: 5 programmable memories, repeater
shift, memory scan and dual watch. The AE 485 S has a
continuous adjustable transmitting power of up to 25 W.
For Thomas Kamp from Cologne it´s been “love on first
sight”. He defines the AE 485 S in the CQDL as a “fun
pack for mobile and holidays” and says: “ To the further
credit points count excellent usability, moderate size
of the control elements, scan, well readable LC-display,
good modulation, microphone with up/down-buttons
and tone call.” Furthermore, he outlined the compre-
hensible manual, the price, as well as the fun reaching
stations based in South and Eastern Europe, Israel, South
Africa and Brazil.
