Manually RECORD video from Live

From your smart device, DOWNLOAD and INSTALL the free ALC SightHD App.
Plug camera into an electrical outlet (allow the camera up
to 90 seconds to boot up).

On your device, open the Settings App. Tap Wi-Fi and under
Choose A Network, select the HD-XXXXXX Network (X
represents the numbers located on the DID barcode sticker
on the back of your camera).

If asked for a password, enter,
“12345678”. Tap Join/Connect.

Now Launch the ALC SightHD App and the Setup Wizard
will appear.

Tap to start the Wizard and select WiFi Cameras.

iOS Only: Once the screen indicates the camera is connected, tap
Live View.
iOS Only: Once the camera is found, the screen will show a Live View
briefly before moving to a setup screen.

At the next screen enter a new
password/security code and remember it or
write it down. Tap Wi-Fi Setting or OK.

Select your home network from the menu,
and then enter your home network’s
Wireless Password. Tap OK.

The system will reboot the camera. The reboot will be complete
when the App finishes counting down from 90. Tap still image for
live video.

Android Only: Tap Live View.

Select the Start and Stop date and time on the Select Event Filter and tap OK.

Tap the FILE that you want to playback from the list.

Tap EDIT SETTING icon and then EVENT LIST icon.

On the Home Page (not Live View) Tap EDIT SETTING at the
bottom of the screen, then tap SETTINGS icon and then tap
ADVANCE (the default password is 123456) to see the
Advanced Feature options:
• Recording Setting
• Time Zone Setting
(ensure your time is correct)
• Video Quality Setting
If setup did not work, reset the camera by inserting a paper clip or similar object into the Reset hole for 10 seconds
and the system will start the reset process. The system will restore to factory default settings and you may start the
Wi-Fi setup. Remove the partially installed setup by tapping EDIT SETTING on the bottom of the home screen, then
tap the Delete icon, then tap Yes. Now you can repeat the installation.

NOTE: Cameras are IP66 rated for indoor/outdoor use. For outdoor use it is recommended to install
camera under shelter to protect from direct exposure to sunlight and other environmental elements. Avoid
pointing a camera directly at any bushes or tree branches or objects that may naturally move due to winds.
Recommendations for best system performance:
• iOS 6.0 or above.
Android: Android
smartphone or tablet (version 2.3x or above).
• Storage: Class 10 microSD memory card (up to 128 GB).
• Bandwidth: 512Kbps or above upload/download speed suggested.

Secure the multi-position
camera bracket to a stable
surface, ceiling or wall.
Loosen the T-Bolt on the camera
bracket and adjust viewing angle
using the Thumb Screw to rotate
position.
Align hole on bottom of camera
with T-Bolt to install camera.
Screw antenna into rear of camera.
Plug into electrical outlet when
ready to install App (Step 2 in
REMOTE VIEWING section).

CLOUD: When an SD card is inserted and the Cloud option is activated (in Advanced
Settings), recorded videos will automatically be transferred onto the cloud, i.e. Google Drive.
