Prepare the existing
cabinet for attachment of
an additional cabinet
Use the following procedure to prepare the existing cabinet for
attachment of an additional cabinet.

1 Make sure the front door of the existing cabinet is open. Refer to the
figure below. Note that the existing cabinet may be the first battery
cabinet, in which case the front heat exchanger and solar shields will not
be present.

2 If a first battery cabinet is being attached to the primary cabinet, and the
primary cabinet has a right solar shield, remove the solar shield at this
time. It will not be reused.
