The Alcatel-Lucent OmniSwitch™ 6450 is a new Value Gigabit Ethernet Stackable LAN family of switches for small
and medium-sized enterprise edge and branch office environments. With an optimized design for flexibility and
scalability as well as low power consumption, the OmniSwitch 6450 Stackable Gigabit Ethernet Switch is embedded
with the latest technology, AOS innovations and ships 10 Gigabit ready for investment protection.
Each OmniSwitch 6450 is fixed configuration chassis in a 1U form factor and comes with:
- 2 x Gigabit fixed SFP uplink ports (SFP+ for 24/48 ports)
- 2 x port expansion slots for additional gigabit uplink or 10G stacking module (for 24/48 ports)
- an internal AC power supply with a country specific power cord
- RJ-45 to DB-9 adaptor and user manuals access card
Ethernet SFP optical transceivers, stacking module and cables may be ordered separately.
