Text messaging
You can send and read text messages using your phone.
Reading new text messages
Depending on your system set-up you will need to follow one of the below procedures to use this feature
First method
You are notified of new messages by a specific mail icon displayed on your phone screen
Second method
You are notified of new messages by a specific mail icon displayed on your phone screen
Sending text messages
Depending on your system set-up you will need to follow one of the below procedures to use this feature

The number next to the icon shows the number of new messages (text or voice
messages, alarm or callback requests)
Press the left navigation key to access the text messaging feature ((long press))
Ok Access the new text messages consultation menu ;
Ok
Scroll and select the kind of new messages to consult (text messages, callback
messages, etc.)
Use one of the following:
Call
Scroll with the right navigation key to display the message
sendersname,messagedateandmessagecontent'
Go back to idle state
Once the message has been read, it is removed from the list of messages.
You can access the message feature using the left navigation shortcut key or the messaging icon in
the main menu.
Press the left navigation key to access the text messaging feature ((long press))
Select the Inbox menu
Scroll on the Inbox menu and select the message to read
If the message doesntfitonthedisplay,scrolldownthemessagetext.'
You can then reply to the message sender or go back to idle screen by pressing on the
On hook key.
Press the left navigation key to access the text messaging feature ((long press))
Scroll and select the text messaging option
Ok Confirm
Enter your callersnumber'
Scroll and select the type of messages to send (predefined messages, messages to
complete or messages to create)
