Clicking on the <RADIUS Server> link provides access to the configuration of
RADIUS servers for the authentication of end user and management system
administrators. Existing entries can be inspected, modified, and deleted using the
<Open>, <Edit>, and <Delete> tabs respectively.
o Server IP Address — IP address of the RADIUS server.
o Authentication Port — Specifies the UDP destination port for authentication
requests (the default value is 1812).
o Accounting Port — Currently not used – specifies the UDP destination port for
accounting requests (Default 1813).
o Timeout (secs.) — The time interval (in seconds) that the OmniAccess 3500
NLG gateway waits for the Radius server to reply before retransmitting (Default
30).
o Shared Secret — Specifies the authentication and encryption key for all RADIUS
communications between the gateway and the RADIUS server. This key must
match the encryption used on the RADIUS daemon.
o Authentication Method — Authentication method used – CHAP (use challenge)
or PAP (simple password).
