3.15.6 ELMC (J315, J318)
As a standard feature, the Extended Link Monitor Channel (ELMC) function allows local
provisioning, alarms, status information, and control commands for the local radio and,
(with the exception of wayside DS1), alarms, status information, control for addressable
remote radios. For wayside DS1 status, the ELMC option key (695-5647-019 or -020) must
be installed on the AE-37Y Controller. For remote provisioning and downloading capabil-
ity, the ELMC option key (695-5647-018 or 695-5647-020) must be installed on the AE-37Y
Controller. Refer Table 3-12 for details.
Recommended connectorized cable assembly – PN 695-4125-006/013 (26 AWG 5 pair
shielded, jacketed cable). See Figure 3-24 for shelf connectors locations and pinout. Refer
to Table 3-13 for mating cable wiring and color code. See Figure 3-25 for typical connec-
tion scheme.
