Installing or removing the battery Set-up Removing or installing the back cover • Insert and click the battery into place, then close the telephone cover. • Unclip the cover, then remove the battery. Charging the battery Inserting or removing the SIM card You must insert your SIM card to make phone calls. Please power off your phone and remove battery before inserting or removing the SIM card.
• The mains socket must be near to the phone and easily accessible (avoid electric extension cables). • When using your telephone for the first time, charge the battery fully (approximately 3 hours). You are advised to fully charge the battery ( ). 2.2 Home screen 2.2.1 Main screen icons (1) You can bring all the items (shortcuts and widgets) you love or use most frequently to your Home screen for quick access. 2.2.4 Personalize the Homescreen Adding items 3 Making a call.......................... 3.1 Placing a call To add an item from the main menu, you can select one of the following ways: • Touch and hold an item from the main menu list. • Press and select “Add widgets/Add shortcut”. • Touch and hold an empty area from the Home screen, select “Add widgets/Add shortcut” from the window that opens, then touch the item you want to add to the Home screen. Making an emergency call Muting the ringtone If your phone has network coverage, dial emergency number and touch You may mute ringtone of current incoming call by press Volume key. to make an emergency call. Call barring You can activate or deactivate the call barring for outgoing and incoming calls.
