SCRAM Sanction Models
Compliance Model
This model rewards positive behavior and compliance using the Sanctions Model
Flowchart previously discussed.
Successful completion of 30+ day sentence
• Verbal and written praise
• Progress report
• Provide voucher to offset costs
of offender pay model
Successful completion of 60+ day sentence
• Continued use of voucher
• Waive community service hours
• Lessened reporting requirements
Successful completion of 90+ day sentence
• Release from SCRAM program
• Partial compliant refund of fees
• Lowering of reporting
requirements
• Lower level of treatment
• Less frequent urinalysis
Non-Compliance Model
This model recommends disciplinary options that can be implemented on a graduated
level if the client continues to violate the terms of the SCRAM Participant Agreement.
