What the symbols mean?
Antenna

signal level
•
Shows the strength of the signal between the
handset and base unit, and flashes when you are
out of range of the base unit (the display will also
flash "BASE 1")

If the level is low, or the symbol is flashing,
move closer to th

base unit.
Battery level
Whenever this shows
nearly 'empty'

Talk

This will display when you are on a call
with the handset
Key lock

Keypad locked
Alarm
• This will display when you have set an alarm
•
This will flash when the alarm is triggered
Ring Off

This will display when the ringer is set OFF
Phonebook
•
This will display when you are in the phonebook
menu or are reviewing the phonebook memory
Voicemail
New CID
• This will display when there is a new CID entry
or if one is being viewed
Repeated
NEW CID
•
This will display when the same caller has called
more than once and not been read yet.
Hands free
•
This will display when the speakerphone is in
use
A.M.
•
This will display if it is A.M. in the 12
hour clock mode.
P.M.
•
This will display if it is P.M. in the 12
hour clock mode.
