Manual control:
Use the MANUAL button to switch
the device or lamp on and off man-
ually.

Random function:
When the Random function is
enabled, the connected lamp or
device is switched on or off according
to the programme steps, however
with a random delay of up to a maxi-
mum of 30 minutes.

button for 3 seconds to
enable the Random func-
tion; press and hold again
for 3 seconds to disable the
Random function

Countdown:
The Countdown function allows you
to immediately switch on the lamp or
device and to keep it switched on for
a pre-set period of time This function
may be used in combination with the
programmed switching times, in which
case the Countdown function is given
the priority
To set the Countdown time
Press the
SET button
41 times
until ‘CTD’ appears on the
right in the display
Use the HOUR and MIN
buttons to set the Countdown
time
Press the CLOCK button to
store the Countdown time
To activate the Countdown:
Simultaneously press the
HOUR and MIN buttons, the
lamp or device is switched
on and the display shows
the running Countdown time;
‘CTD’ flashes on the right in
the display.
As soon as the Countdown is
expired, the lamp or device
is switched off again
Functions during the
Countdown period:
Press the MANUAL button to
switch the lamp or device off
and to pause the Countdown
timer, press the MANUAL
button again to resume the
Countdown function
Press the CLOCK button to
switch the display between
the actual time and the
Countdown time; the timer
keeps running regardless
Simultaneously press the
HOUR and MIN buttons to
cancel the Countdown peri-
od; the lamp or device will
then be switched off
Type of device:
Because the DTS-814 uses a relay
for its switching function, basically
anything running on 230 Volts may be
connected.
Outdoor lighting may also be operat-
ed, provided that the time switch is
located indoors.
Specifications:
- 250V, 10A, 2300W max.
- Only applicable indoors.
Discarding the time switch:
The time switch may not be
discarded as normal house-
hold waste at the end of its
life span, you must bring it to
a collection point for the recycling of
electric and electronic devices.
