Gauge Specifications
Product is designed to meet or exceed ISTA and ANSI/BIFMA performance standards. Please
note that gauge of steel alone is not the only factor for quality or durability. If the proper bends
and other features are not incorporated into the design, a heavier gauge will not enhance overall
performance, as these bends and features add strength to the steel where needed. Simply stating
the gauge is not an accurate representation of quality. Therefore, engineering and production
methods should be taken into consideration when comparing to other products.
Depending on the steel market, gauge can sometimes vary, so a range is specified in some areas.
Material thickness is subject to change, without notice, as we make improvements to our products
and/or processes.

• Top: 18-19 Gauge with welded front corners
• Sides: 20-21 Gauge 1 knockout per side, 2 in rear
• Vertical Uprights:
▪ Front (2) 18-19 Gauge
▪ Rear (2) 20-21 Gauge
• Back: 20-21 Gauge
• Counterweight: included where applicable to meet ANSI/BIFMA stability
requirements
• Base Stiffener welded to case: 18-19 Gauge
• Bottom: 18-19 Gauge welded front corners
• Horizontal Crosspiece: 18-19 Gauge (4 and 5 Drawer Models)
• Posting Shelf Filler: 22-23 Gauge (4 and 5 Drawer Models)

• Door Hinge: 16 Gauge
• Door Hinge Bracket: Glass reinforced nylon with nylon rollers
