5. Settheheaderontotheframe
a) Line‐uptheslitsontheheaderwiththemetalstiffenersonthedoor
frame.Themetalstiffenershouldfitintotheslots.
DONOTATTACHSPINETOHEADER
6. Assemblethepocketdoorframetothedoorway
a) Placetheassembleddoorframeandheaderintothedooropening.
Use a level to ensure the header is flush; shim as needed. Insert 2
1/2” wood screws through the pre‐drilled holes in the header and
fastentotherough
openingheader.
Important:Thedoorwillnotslideproperlyiftheheaderisnotlevel.
b) Alignthebottomofthedoorframewiththechalklines.
c) Ensurethespineisplumb,shimmingasneededandnailtothestud.
d) Double check the width of each cross piece
and adjust as required
ensuregapjambsareplumb.Usingbradnailer,securecrosspieces
verticallywithbradnails.
e) Secure the floor plates located on the bottom of the pocket door
frameassemblytothefloorusingwoodscrews.
f) Remove the transportation blocks by gently tapping them with a

hammer.

7. Sealdoor
a) Topreventdoorfromwarping,sealallsixsidesofthedoor.

8. Installthedoorhangerplates
a) Usingthe30mmscrewsprovided,affixthedoorhangerplates
lengthwiseonthetopedgeofthedoor,centeredinwidth,at2”(5
cm)fromeitherendofthedoor.Ensuretheyarefacingthesame
direction.

